It features Hispanics with breathing problems who have participated in clinical trials or have benefited from the help of other clinical research participants. It emphasizes the importance of Hispanic participation in clinical research to advance medical science. This video was produced from the ground-up in Spanish, as opposed to taking English interviews or text and translating them into Spanish. In addition, great consideration was given to the cultural diversity that exists within the Hispanic population in the United States. This is reflected in the diverse panel of physician experts and patients used to produce this video. The video is therefore culturally appropriate and easily understood.
