Founded in 2003, the Center for Information & Study on Clinical Research Participation is an independent nonprofit organization that was founded for the purpose of increasing education and awareness about clinical research participation and the role it plays in public health. We are a small non-profit where you will get a variety of opportunities throughout the internship.  This fall CISCRP is rolling out, “Medical Heroes” which is a national multi-media campaign that depicts trial volunteers as heroes and aims to educate and win over the public about the importance of clinical research participation in advancing public health.  We also maintain and online store of educational materials, including brochures, DVDs, posters and books.  We host AWARE for All-Clinical Research Education Days in various cities throughout the country annually and will be working on coordinating our upcoming event.

This internship is available to college students in the Greater Boston area, looking to gain experience in the world of non-profits and public advocacy specifically regarding clinical research participation and education.  Interns play an important role at CISCRP and their responsibilities depend very much upon their skill set. They participate in all activities including meetings, marketing of new products, preparation of press releases and newsletter articles, program development, internet research, and phone calling to the media. We offer flexible hours, a great working environment, and pleasant working conditions. We ask that you please submit a resume in addition to filling out the online form located on our website.  You may send your resume to info@ciscrp.org.

CISCRP is conveniently located in Dedham, Massachusetts, and conveniently located near Route 1 and 128/I-95, and is also accessible by public transportation. We require that our interns work from our Dedham, MA office and offer a transportation stipend.
