Juneteenth Freedom Fest NYC, Inc. was founded in 2020 & launched in 2021 as a week-long, hybrid cultural festival! JFFNYC provides attendees with virtual & in-person programming to commemorate June 19th,-the day in 1865 when the last group of enslaved African Americans were set free in Galveston, TX!
Visit CISCRP at the event to learn about clinical research for Black and African American people, what it means to participate in a research study, and the importance of diversity in clinical research.
JFFNYC was founded on our 4 Pillars: Celebrate, Motivate, Educate & Liberate! We started our organization to create a safe space to celebrate Black people, motivate Black creatives to push Black culture forward, to educate the masses on racial equity and liberate the Black community from racial injustices in its many forms.
How do we plan to do this? By producing quality programming and community based events! We believe that with educating the community, coupled with resources, true liberation can be achieved!
