I am a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Public Health in College Park, Md. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Science, and I am passionate about discovering solutions to public health issues. As an undergraduate, I worked to combat a pressing issue in the Prince George’s County area–childhood obesity and physical inactivity. My team and I did this by facilitating a partnership between the Maryland-National Capital Parks and Planning Commission, State legislators and UMD School of Public Health’s Healthy Futures Program to form the first financially accessible youth lacrosse league in the Prince George’s County area. I served as the Director and Head Coach of Lanham Youth Lacrosse for our inaugural season. As a Research Associate here at CISCRP, I am excited to partner with patients to better understand the journey they undergo in the clinical trial process. I hope to utilize the information they offer to help build a better clinical trial for the future.
