As the weather heats up in Boston, so does momentum around CISCRP’s many programs and initiatives coming later this summer and fall.
This newsletter follows the DIA 2016 Annual Meeting where CISCRP staff members and Founder Ken Getz participated and made new industry connections. We also wrapped up our spring events season during the conference with our Third Annual Medical Heroes Appreciation 5K. The event was held in conjunction with the DIA Annual Meeting and attracted a record number (375) of participants.
New collaborations furthering CISCRP’s mission include collaborations with Context Media and BlueCloud by HealthCarePoint to raise awareness of the importance of clinical research with professionals and patients.
CISCRP is now gearing up for a number of exciting new events. At the end of September, we will co-host an “Inspiring Hope Ideathon” to rally clinical research professionals, patient advocates, and other medical professionals in submitting the best ideas to increase public awareness in clinical research. CISCRP is currently calling for idea submissions and we want to hear from you! The deadline to submit applications is August 8.
CISCRP is also deeply involved in planning a special musical concert to raise public awareness of the gift of participation in collaboration with the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO)! We are currently pulling together a steering committee and preparing detailed plans for this exciting high visibility event to be held in our nation’s capitol.
Our Events team is busy preparing for AWARE for All programs in 3 new cities this fall: Miami, FL; Baton Rouge, LA; and Irvine, CA – with more updates to come throughout the summer.
Finally, our Search Clinical Trials service continues to grow as it provides an increasing number of patients and their families with information about relevant clinical trials. Our Search Clinical Trials team is pleased to provide this complimentary service.
As always, I’d like to close by extending a warm thank you to all of our supporters. Without your dedication and enthusiasm, our many programs and events would not be possible. I wish you all the best and hope you will keep CISCRP in your thoughts.
Until next time,
