CISCRP staff is committed to participating and presenting—speaker, chairperson, moderator, advisor roles—in relevant and engaging educational events within the clinical research industry. We hope you can attend the following conference events and meet the CISCRP team.
CISCRP will be exhibiting and speaking at the conference. Annick de Bruin will be speaking on the panel: Using AI to Improve Patient Interactions, Bridge Health Literacy Gaps, and Support Clinical Trial Navigation. Topics include:
Agentic and empathic AI agents: How AI can replicate or improve human empathy in patient care
Responsible vs. biased AI, especially in marginalized or rural communities
How AI can support patient understanding when health literacy is low
Simplifying patient portals, test results, and trial communications to improve comprehension and adherence
Case Study: “Meet Ella” – AI humanoid assisting patients with clinical research navigation
Behtash Bahador will be speaking in the roundtable session: Boots on the Ground: Practical Community Engagement Strategies for Inclusive Clinical Trials. A multi-stakeholder roundtable focused on practical, scalable approaches to building trust and representation in clinical trials, including:
Translating larger initiatives (e.g., mobile education units) into smaller, community-driven strategies
Creating educational materials and messaging that resonate with diverse populations
Tracking engagement and outcomes effectively, even with limited resources

April 28–29, 2026 | Boston Marriott Burlington, MA
Corey Greene will be speaking on the panel on April 28 at 11:10AM: Right Place, Right AI: Choosing your AI services correctly. AI is evolving faster than ever, making it increasingly difficult to keep pace. While many in clinical research recognize its potential across specific functions and services, identifying where AI truly fits—and delivers the most value—remains a challenge.
Behtash Bahador will be speaking on May 7 at 10–10:30 AM on What Patients and the Public Think: Insights on AI and Tech in Trials. As AI and emerging technologies reshape the clinical research landscape, understanding the perceptions and experiences of trial participants, patients, and the public is critical to building trust and improving trial success when these tools are used. Drawing on the latest CISCRP Perceptions & Insights bi-annual survey of over 12,000 respondents globally, this session explores concerns, expectations, and trial experiences on the use of AI and decentralized trial technologies. Practical approaches to the planning and use of these tools in research will also be shared, aligned with emerging patient-centric regulatory and good practice expectations.

Corinne Scripps will be speaking on: Integrating the Patient’s Voice in Clinical Research. The patient’s perspective has increasingly taken center stage in drug development and clinical trials. There is a growing recognition that patient-centered research can have a positive impact on successful trial outcomes. Join this session to delve into:
Enhancing the relevance and success of clinical research through active patient involvement and advocacy
Improving study design, trial recruitment and retention
Exploring the regulatory guidance on patient-focused drug development
Participant, patient and public perceptions on clinical research, trial design and recruitment strategies
Justine Holleran will be speaking on: Driving Inclusive Clinical Trials: Community Partnerships to Educate & Engage. Improving enrollment and inclusion in clinical trials must go beyond recruitment tactics to address systemic barriers, mistrust, and lack of awareness. This session presents real-world case studies from multi-year, national community engagement efforts, showcasing how community-centered partnerships drives meaningful and lasting engagement and measurable impact.
Identify strategies for building authentic, lasting community partnerships to support inclusive clinical research.
Evaluate the role of community partners in building trust and sustaining engagement.
Analyze impact metrics and operational KPIs from real-world outreach efforts.
June 14–18, 2026 | Philadelphia, PA
Kim Edwards will be speaking at the conference. Email our team to schedule a meeting at the conference: info@ciscrp.org.
Hosted for the first time in 2026 at SCOPE Summit, we invited conference attendees to stretch and recharge while honoring the Medical Heroes that participate in research to advance medicine for all.
