Honoring Medical Heroes

What is a Medical Hero?

Medical Heroes are the study volunteers who participate in clinical trials and help make new medical treatments possible. Since 2013, CISCRP holds fun, active and meaningful events throughout the year to celebrate the individuals who give the gift of participation in clinical research. These events raise funds to provide clinical research education and outreach resources for the public, patients and their families.

All proceeds from our fitness challenges support educational programs designed to help the public, patients and their families better navigate the clinical research experience.

Our Fitness Events

Host and/or participate in a CISCRP Medical Heroes Appreciation 5K Run & Walk. Held in different locations across the nation, the event is open to everyone who enjoys being healthy and active, and at the same time, an opportunity to acknowledge all the Medical Heroes involved in clinical research.

A virtual fitness challenge opened to the public designed to motivate you to be healthy and active while bringing awareness to study volunteers who participate in clinical trials and help make new treatments possible. Each fitness activity can be logged into our customize online portal and converted into miles to pin-point teams on a virtual fitness course in real-time.
