The Problem
There is a need for how-to guidelines on health communication practices.
While there has been great progress in patient engagement and health literacy within the clinical research enterprise, there is still very little awareness about the value and practical how-to guidelines of patient-centered health communication practices.
It is critical for research professionals and others involved in clinical studies to understand the key principles, applications, and benefits of health communication (inclusive of health literacy) to plan and effectively execute research that truly treats patients as partners.
CISCRP's Solution
CISCRP provides Health Literacy workshops for clinical research professionals, from pharma and bio-tech to site staff and advocacy groups.
Health Literacy workshops provide attendees with the critical thinking skills needed to develop materials that are intended to be patient- and public-facing. Health Literacy workshops can be designed to provide high level strategic concepts or to be more focused on the client’s needs. Each workshop includes case studies and activities that will provide the greatest value to your team.
We deliver workshops to a wide range of attendees, from MDs and PhDs to study coordinators. Whether your team members work as individual contributors, in management, or in leadership roles, they will gain key strategic and practical insights on engaging, educating, and empowering patients, participants, and the public.
